U.S. Marshals shoot and arrest man at Tempe Marketplace<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nMembers of the U.S. Marshals Arizona Task Force shot and arrested a man who they say is a fugitive accused of multiple crimes in Washington state at Tempe Marketplace on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n

According to a news release from the U.S. Marshals Service, the shooting happened near McClintock Drive and Rio Salado Parkway when officials tried to arrest a man accused of robbery, assault, burglary, and theft in King and Lewis counties in Washington, and has a Washington State Department of Corrections warrant for escape.<\/p>\n

The identity of the suspect was not released by authorities.<\/p>\n

According to the news release, the suspect was in the driver’s seat of his vehicle when the U.S. Marshals members approached him. The suspect allegedly took out a handgun from the backseat, and officials started firing at him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Milwaukee mom fatally shoots intruder, claims self-defense<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA Milwaukee woman claims she was defending her children when she fatally shot an intruder who entered her home.<\/p>\n

The mother of two, who asked to remain anonymous, said she was showering before work Monday morning when she heard her 12- and 14-year-old screaming from the living room, news station TMJ4 reported.<\/p>\n

She immediately ran to her room, grabbed her gun, and confronted the intruder, who was undeterred by the family\u2019s two pit bulls. She then shot him multiple times.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt all happened so fast \u2014 an adrenaline rush,\u201d she told the outlet.<\/p>\n

Milwaukee police have not identified the man, who she said was in his 30s and acting erratically. The mother was arrested on the scene, but was released several hours later after questioning.<\/p>\n

The case is being referred to the district attorney\u2019s office.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Papa John\u2019s worker attacked over missing pepperoncinis stabs customer, MD cops say<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA Papa John\u2019s worker stabbed a customer in self-defense after the customer started a fight about missing pizza toppings, Maryland cops say.<\/p>\n

It happened late Aug. 17 when Herbert Harris, 40, returned to the restaurant with a pizza he had recently purchased to complain about missing pepperoncinis and garlic sauce, according to a statement from the Harford County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Harris\u2019 complaint led to an argument with a store employee. As the argument escalated, Harris stepped behind the front counter and shoved the employee before chasing him around the store and attacking him with a metal pizza paddle, the statement says.<\/p>\n

After being chased, the employee grabbed a pizza spear and stabbed Harris in the stomach in an act of self-defense, investigators say.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
