Remember how the media howled, as they always do, over security upgrades to Mar-A-Lago after Trump took office? Now, at least Trump supported physical security on the border – that was one of his key issues. Biden, on the other hand, swears up and down that walls and fences are baaadd and don’t do anything.<\/p>\n

The Cape Gazette says that a custom home improvement place landed a contract to install a $455,000 security fence at Biden’s summer house.<\/p>\n

According to the website USAspending.gov<\/a>, an online database of federal government spending, the Department of Homeland Security, with the Secret Service as the subagency, recently awarded a $455,000 contract to Rehoboth\u2019s Turnstone Builders for \u201cpurchase and installation of security fencing at 32 Farview, Rehoboth Delaware.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Joe may not be a big believer in fences, but apparently the Secret Service is. Must be a lot of bells and whistles for a fence to cost within spitting range of a half a million bucks. Maybe Hunter is branching out into fencing from art.<\/p>\n

Late edit – an on-line calculator said 150 line feet of chain-link fence can cost up to $4K more or less for 150 feet. Just for fun let’s say they are fencing the whole lot (around 600 feet) with real expensive fence that costs 5 times as much, that is 5 times $4000 times 4 (from 150 feet to 600 feet) and you get $80,000. Where is the other $400,000? (I am not accepting “up Hunter’s nose” for an answer.)<\/p>\n
