This was not to PINO Joe’s Handlers liking. Being proactive, they had Joe make the passive-aggressive statement to dissuade Nan stating, \u201cThe military thinks it\u2019s not a good idea right now.\u201d Not a bit surprising, considering what constitutes his military advisors. Left unsaid was why, and when a good time might be.<\/p>\n
Hate to say, Nan is saving U.S. dignity, asserting U.S. support for the island nation, and reassuring our Pacific allies. This also bolsters Taiwan’s world presence, China’s actual source of ire.<\/p>\n

Nerozzi | Fox News<\/strong><\/p>\n House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has landed on the island of Taiwan after weeks of international speculation and threats of retaliation from the Chinese Communist Party.<\/p>\n Pelosi, who is conducting an extensive tour of multiple allied nations in Asia, has finally touched down in Taiwan despite repeated threats to the speaker’s safety.<\/p>\n Her plane touched down in Taiwan at approximately 10:45am EST.<\/p>\n Pelosi is the first House speaker to visit Taiwan since Newt Gingrich in 1997, and the Taiwanese government has been eager to host the speaker. Diplomatic trips of this level could serve to provide Taiwan legitimacy on the world stage.<\/p>\n China has issued stern warnings against such a visit in previous weeks, including threats from government officials and TV personalities. And President Biden revealed weeks ago that the U.S. military “thinks it’s not a good idea right now.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Fox News<\/a><\/p>\n Pathetic. The Speaker of the House is threatened by our greatest rival, and the administration’s milquetoast mouthpiece doesn’t want to anger China into possibly doing something.<\/p>\n No fan and I’m sure she has ulterior motives, but Nan is standing up while PINO Joe’s Handlers navel-gaze with thoughts of green energy.<\/p>\n White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby<\/strong> underscored that the decision on whether to visit the self-ruled island that China claims as its own was ultimately Pelosi\u2019s. He noted that members of Congress have routinely visited Taiwan over the years.<\/p>\n Kirby said administration officials are concerned that Beijing could use the visit as an excuse to take provocative retaliatory steps, including military action such as firing missiles in the Taiwan Strait or around Taiwan, flying sorties into Taiwan\u2019s airspace and carrying out large-scale naval exercises in the strait.<\/p>\n \u201cPut simply, there is no reason for Beijing to turn a potential visit consistent with long-standing U.S. policy into some sort of crisis or use it as a pretext to increase aggressive military activity in or around the Taiwan Strait,\u201d Kirby said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n NBC News<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
