In my last post I noted that the wacko birther \u201clawyer\u201d claims to have over 170 officers on board. It made me wonder why she doesn\u2019t claim any NCO\u2019s?<\/p>\n
It reminded me of this story from a SOCOM Plans BUB (Battle Update Brief). As best as I can recall, it went something like this\u2026<\/p>\n
A U.S. Army Colonel was about to start the morning briefing to his staff. While waiting for the coffee machine to finish its brewing, the Colonel decided to pose a question to all assembled.<\/p>\n
He explained that his wife had been a bit frisky the night before and he failed to get his usual amount of sound sleep.<\/p>\n
He posed the question of just how much of sex was “work” and how much of it was “pleasure?”<\/p>\n
A Lieutenant Colonel from the EOC chimed in with 75-25% in favor of work.<\/p>\n
A Major plans officer (and expert slide bitch) said it was more like 50-50%.<\/p>\n
A Captain responded with 25-75% in favor of pleasure, depending upon his state of inebriation at the time.<\/p>\n
There being no consensus, the Colonel turned to the Master Sergeant who was in
\ncharge of the war room. What was HIS opinion?<\/p>\n
Without any hesitation, the Master Sergeant responded, “Sir, it has to be 100% pleasure.”<\/p>\n
The Colonel was surprised and, as you might guess, asked why?<\/p>\n
“Well, sir, if there was any real work involved, the officers would have me doing it for them.”<\/p>\n
