Thanks, Poe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Police arrest man they said was posing as fake officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Michele Newell<br \/>\nPolice say they captured a fake cop who had emergency lights, a badge and a radio.<\/p>\n<p>Acworth police told Channel 2 Cobb County Bureau Chief Michele Newell that they aren\u2019t sure how long the suspect was posing as an officer, but they say that when they spotted him, he was driving an unmarked retired police car that had emergency lights mounted on the front, the side and back of the car.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe uniform looked just like a police officer uniform. The vehicle was an old, retired police car,\u201d Cpl. Eric Mistretta with the Acworth Police Department said.<\/p>\n<p>Police identified the man as Jerardson Mackey. He was charged with impersonating an officer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPretending to be a police officer, it puts everyone at risk,\u201d one driver said, asking not to be identified.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s very concerning. Very frustrating and scary because I\u2019m a female driver,\u201d driver Mary Timbers said.<\/p>\n<p>Police said Mackey activated emergency lights on a white Dodge Charger as soon as they tried to pull him over.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe had a full duty belt as police officers wear. The only thing missing was a gun, but he did have the magazine patches on his gun belt,\u201d Mistretta said. \u201cHe had patches on the side that said Georgia. Bremerton shooting, missing his target but grazing his partner<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Andrew Binion, Kitsap Sun<br \/>\nLuck was the reason cited for why a maintenance worker at an East Bremerton apartment complex was not struck by a bullet in a shooting Tuesday, where a suspect allegedly fired seven rounds at him from a distance of about 10 feet.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect\u2019s alleged partner was also lucky, as he apparently ran in front of the gunfire but was only grazed in the head by one of the bullets.<\/p>\n<p>After emptying the gun bystanders rushed the shooter and held him for police.<\/p>\n<p>The attack on the maintenance workers started for no apparent reason, according to court documents filed Wednesday in Kitsap County Superior Court charging the two men with multiple felonies.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors charged Joseph Paul Claussen, 19, of Port Orchard, with attempted second-degree murder, third-degree assault and fourth-degree assault.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>0 \/ 2 \/ 0<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/suspect-fired-7-times-e-215551874.html\">Yahoo News<\/a><\/p>\n<p>No more bullets?<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Hey Laughing Boy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ylqEN7J3GLA\" width=\"480\" height=\"507\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Thanks again for the links, Gun Bunny.<\/p>\n<p><strong>South Florida man beats wife, gets shot by stepson, deputies say<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>MCSO: William Zimmerman, 53, told detectives he would kill stepson after being released from hospital<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>MONROE COUNTY, Fla. \u2013 A South Florida man who was shot last month by his stepson was arrested Tuesday after being released from a hospital in Miami, authorities confirmed on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>According to Adam Linhardt, a spokesman for the Monroe County Sheriff\u2019s Office, William Zimmerman, 53, of Big Pine Key, was shot by his 25-year-old stepson on June 26 as the stepson witnessed Zimmerman beating his mother.<\/p>\n<p>The Sheriff\u2019s Office received a 911 call around 7:30 p.m. that night from the victim\u2019s son.
