Woman shot by Dallas police at Love Field airport after she fired handgun in terminal<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA woman was shot by police after she fired a handgun inside the terminal at Dallas Love Field Airport, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia said that the incident happened after a 37-year-old female was dropped off near the Southwest Airlines ticket counter on Monday morning.<\/p>\n

He told reporters that the suspect then went into a toilet, where she changed her outfit and came back out. An officer in the terminal then saw her pull out a handgun and she began firing into the air and \u201caiming at the ceiling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police say that the officer \u201cengaged\u201d the suspect and she was shot in the \u201clower extremities.\u201d She was taken into custody and then to the hospital.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Police K-9 helps deputies track down domestic violence suspect in Spanaway<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA K-9 team from Lakewood helped Pierce County deputies find a domestic violence suspect in Spanaway.<\/p>\n

On Sunday at noon, emergency dispatchers received a call about a protection order violation in the Spanaway area near 224th and 38th Avenue East.<\/p>\n

A man was threatening to break down the door and was violating a current domestic violence protection order, according to deputies. Deputies were told the man was known to carry a gun.<\/p>\n

The man had fled in his vehicle just before deputies arrived at the scene. Deputies began searching for the vehicle in nearby neighborhoods.<\/p>\n

At some point the man parked his car, ran and started hopping over fences. Police said someone called in the suspicious behavior. Deputies set up a perimeter in the area and called for a K-9 team to help.<\/p>\n

The Lakewood Police Department\u2019s K-9 Rock arrived with his partner to help track the man.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
