Naval Sea Systems Command Inclusion & Engagement Council\u2019s Diversity Pronoun Training Team<\/em><\/p>\n JOSHUA KLEIN<\/strong><\/p>\n A newly-released Navy training video teaches sailors to use the \u201cright\u201d pronouns, \u201cshow that we\u2019re allies,\u201d and create \u201ca safe space for everybody,\u201d while instructing service members on how to proceed after having \u201cmisgendered\u201d someone.<\/p>\n The official U.S. Navy video posted by Air Force Staff Sergeant John Vannucci, according to The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS), begins with two rainbow-clad hosts \u2014 both Navy civilians \u2014 introducing their personal pronouns and announcing they are there \u201cto talk about pronouns.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cUsing the right pronouns is a really simple way to affirm someone\u2019s identity,\u201d one host says. \u201cIt is a signal of acceptance and respect.\u201d<\/p>\n In order to \u201cgo about creating a safe space for everybody,\u201d the host suggests using \u201cinclusive language.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cInstead of saying something like, \u2018Hey, guys,\u2019 you can say, \u2018Hey, everyone,\u2019 or, \u2018Hey, team,\u2019\u201d he says.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Breitbart<\/a><\/p>\n My Navy is broken.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"U.S. Navy Releases Video Training Sailors to Use \u2018Right\u2019 Pronouns, Not \u2018Misgender\u2019 Colleagues<\/h3>\n
