The Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Inspector General declined to investigate, indicating that it had not found any criminal actions were taken by the agents, kicking it back down to CBP investigators. Nearly nine months later, CBP has yet to release the results of its in-house investigation, and the employees involved remain on desk duty.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
