Orange County homeowner shoots, kills man breaking into home, deputies say<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nOrange County deputies are investigating after an attempted home invasion Sunday turned into a deadly shooting<\/p>\n

Deputies said they were called to a home on Bentwood Street around 12:40 p.m. after reports of a burglary in progress.<\/p>\n

When deputies arrived, they found a man in his 30s who had been shot by the homeowner.<\/p>\n

The man was taken to a hospital where he died, deputies said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nPolice responding to a domestic violence call shot and killed a woman armed with a knife outside of her boyfriend\u2019s home in Texas, news outlets report.<\/p>\n

San Antonio police received a call around 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, from an address on the city\u2019s east side, WOAI reported.<\/p>\n

The homeowner said he had been attacked by his on-and-off girlfriend, SAPD told the TV station. She cut him with a knife, and threatened him with a rifle she found in the home, before he and a roommate managed to disarm her and remove her from the home.<\/p>\n

Based on her actions and attitude, the men told police she may be under the influence of drugs, KSAT reported.<\/p>\n

Officers arrived to find the 51-year-old woman stabbing the back door with her knife, trying to get back inside, police told the TV station.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
