Seattle burglar accidentally shoots himself in head while trying to escape the scene<\/strong>
\nSuspect is convicted felon who faces multiple charges, including unlawful possession of a firearm<\/em><\/p>\n

\nA Seattle man was hospitalized and later arrested after accidentally shooting himself in the head as he tried to leave the scene following a break-in.<\/p>\n

Police received word from a Seattle homeowner, who says he heard noises coming from his garage early Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

The victim went to his garage and found a masked suspect, who ran after being spotted. The victim grabbed a broom and chased the suspect to his van in a nearby parking lot.<\/p>\n

When the suspect got into his vehicle, he raised his gun and warned the victim to get back. Seattle police report that the victim turned away from the suspect and later heard gunshots as the suspect’s vehicle sped away. The victim immediately went home and called the police to report the burglary. When authorities arrived, he described the clothes that the suspect was wearing.<\/p>\n

Authorities later went to the hospital after receiving a dispatch call about a man showing up to First Hill hospital with a gunshot wound to his head.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Los Angeles armed suspects scramble for cover after employee whips out his own gun<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nTwo suspects are wanted in connection with an armed robbery in a Los Angeles smoke shop that resulted in a shootout between a security guard and four others in which one person was killed, authorities said.<\/p>\n

The gunfire broke at the “Smoke Shop” just before 7 p.m. in Compton, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said. Four people entered the store and pointed handguns at an employee behind a counter.<\/p>\n

An employee appears to be wearing a ballistic vest with “SECURITY” written on it, according to security footage released by authorities Wednesday. One suspect can be seen taking out a gun and pointing it at him.<\/p>\n

The employee pulls out a gun and a gun battle ensued. The suspects trip over each other as they try to flee and fire several rounds at the store employee.<\/p>\n

He was shot in the neck and face but was later released from the hospital.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
