Just Wonderful."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, we have more words of \u201cwisdom\u201d from our \u201cwise leader\u201d in DC.   Here ya go \u2013 from a speech he made yesterday in Poland:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"450\" height=\"253\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/jgSft7Xl280\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In case anyone missed it:  yeah, he was referring to Putin with the &#8220;remain in power&#8221; statement.<\/p>\n<p><del>Elsewhere in the same speech, he reportedly called Putin a \u201cbutcher\u201d.  I say \u201creportedly\u201d because the full speech was nearly \u00bd hour long, and I\u2019m not going to waste that much of my life listening to this individual read from a teleprompter.<\/del> (see correction in addendum) <\/p>\n<p>A bit over two months ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.19fortyfive.com\/2022\/01\/did-joe-biden-accidently-greenlight-a-russian-attack-on-ukraine\/\"><i>he publicly gave Putin an effective (though possibly inadvertent or accidental) \u201cgreen light\u201d to move into the Ukraine<\/i><\/a>.  Now, our \u201cwise leader\u201d has now effectively \u2013 though again perhaps without realizing it \u2013 publicly called for regime change in Russia.  <\/p>\n<p>But hey, no problem.  After all, what could go wrong?  Really:  what might a paranoid dictator wanting to expand his nation and whose military adventures in a neighboring state are not going terribly well do with his nukes when confronted with a call for regime change by the US?<\/p>\n<p>Predictably, White House staffers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/03\/26\/politics\/biden-warsaw-saturday\/index.html\"><i>shortly afterwards attempted to \u201cwalk back\u201d the POTUS\u2019s remarks<\/i><\/a>, claiming that, \u201cHe was not discussing Putin&#8217;s power in Russia, or regime change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Now, maybe it\u2019s just me.  But the US President saying \u201cFor God\u2019s sake, this man cannot remain in power\u201d sounds pretty clear to me \u2013 and I suspect it sounded pretty clear in Moscow, too.  <\/p>\n<p>But then again, I never did understand diplomat-speak all that well.  Or the babbling of fools.<\/p>\n<p>Sheesh.  First an inadvertent \u201cgreen light\u201d, then an inadvertent call for \u201cregime change\u201d.  What\u2019s next:  an inadvertent major war?  Or perhaps an inadvertent nuclear exchange?<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p><u><i>Addendum<\/u>:  a full transcript of Biden&#8217;s &#8220;words of wisdom&#8221; referenced above (e.g., his speech) <\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/video\/2022\/03\/26\/us_president_biden_calls_for_regime_change_in_russia_during_visit_to_poland.html\">can be found here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><i>Also, Biden did indeed also call Putin a &#8220;butcher&#8221; during his visit to Poland &#8211; but not in the speech referenced above.  Rather, that occurred <\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/03\/26\/politics\/joe-biden-vladimir-putin-butcher\/index.html\">during a Q&#038;A session with the press during the same visit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><i>My apologies for the initial error, but I simply wasn&#8217;t going to listen to 27 minutes of his reading from a teleprompter to verify the presence of the &#8220;butcher&#8221; comment in that speech.<\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, we have more words of \u201cwisdom\u201d from our \u201cwise leader\u201d in DC.
