The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and PINO Joe’s chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci, said Thursday evening that Americans could face more lockdowns as a Covid subvariant named BA.2 spreads throughout the U.S.<\/p>\n
He suggests Americans should “be able to pivot and go back to any degree of mitigation that is commensurate with what the situation is.”<\/p>\n
The question is of course, who decides what mitigation measures are necessary, and what data supports that decision as effective?<\/p>\n

He suggested that Americans should “be able to pivot” back and forth between a more common way of life and the measures that were taken in an attempt to slow the spread of the virus at the height of the pandemic.<\/p>\n “If in fact, we do see a turnaround and a resurgence, we have to be able to pivot and go back to any degree of mitigation that is commensurate with what the situation is,” Fauci said Thursday during an interview with CNN.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
