Fishkill police shoot man with knife during domestic dispute: State police<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nEditor’s note: State police said Monday afternoon that police shot the woman who was injured in this incident, but then Monday night they said it was not yet clear who shot her, and that it was still under investigation.<\/p>\n

A domestic dispute at a Fishkill apartment complex on Sunday appears to have ended with town police shooting a man who was armed with a knife, according to state police, who said a woman was also shot during the incident.<\/p>\n

It’s not yet clear who shot the woman, who was trying to stop the confrontation or disarm the man, state police said, though they did not say that anyone else at that apartment complex was found with a gun.<\/p>\n

State police are investigating the violence that unfolded around 2:35 p.m. at The Views at Rocky Glen, a complex off Route 52.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas \u2014 The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office (FBCSO) is investigating an officer-involved shooting that stemmed from an alleged hit-and-run incident on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The sheriff’s office said the hit-and-run happened in Beasley near U.S. 59. They said deputies were able to locate and stop the suspect’s vehicle on the freeway.<\/p>\n

Following the stop, the suspect got out of the vehicle and approached deputies with a knife in hand, FBCSO said. Deputies responded by using a Taser on the suspect, who momentarily went to the ground but was able to get back up.<\/p>\n

The sheriff’s office said deputies opened fire on the suspect when continued to rush towards them with a knife. The suspect died at the scene. Officials say the incident took place around 2:25 p.m.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
