Whyms is recovering after a successful surgery Sunday morning, sheriff\u2019s office officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect, Aidan Cole Bryant, was in surgery Saturday night, McFadden said at a 7:30 p.m. news conference at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Whyms was shot after stopping a vehicle about 4:15 p.m. on Salome Church Road, according to a Sheriff\u2019s Office news release. Rivera said they had just finished a photo shoot for her son, Angel Rivera, when she and her daughter Carmen noticed Mbaye walking really close to people.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I heard a smack like somebody got hit in the head with a bottle.
