On his show, Jimmy Kimmel was dismissive of the significance of the Durham investigation. It does not appear to him, and to his allies in the mainstream media, that Trump was spied on. He described those who take the Clinton spying investigation seriously as Fox News Viewers with soft, oatmeal-like brains.<\/p>\n

Earlier Wednesday, Clinton also went after Trump and Fox News, calling any spying allegations a “fake scandal.”<\/p>\n

“Trump & Fox are desperately spinning up a fake scandal to distract from his real ones. So it’s a day that ends in Y,” Clinton wrote in a tweet . “The more his misdeeds are exposed, the more they lie. For those interested in reality, here’s a good debunking of their latest nonsense,” Clinton wrote in the tweet.<\/p>\n

The former president said Durham’s latest pleading “provides indisputable evidence” that his campaign and office were spied on by operatives paid by Clinton’s campaign “to develop a completely fabricated connection to Russia.”<\/p>\n

“This is a scandal far greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate and those who were involved in and knew about this spying operation should be subject to criminal prosecution,” Trump said. “In a stronger period of time in our country, this crime would have been punishable by death. In addition, reparations should be paid to those in our country who have been damaged by this.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
