South Carolina deputies shoot man after shotgun carjacking attempt<\/strong>
\nPolice chased the truck until the driver got out with a shotgun and tried to carjack another driver<\/em><\/p>\n

GRANITEVILLE. S.C. \u2014 Deputies shot and wounded a man who drove away from a traffic stop then tried to steal a car from a driver with a shotgun, a sheriff’s office in South Carolina said.<\/p>\n

An Aiken County deputy first tried to pull the man over around 11:20 p.m. Thursday in Graniteville, but he drove off as the deputy approached his pickup truck, Aiken County Sheriff Michael Hunt said.<\/p>\n

Deputies chased the truck until the driver got out with a shotgun and tried to carjack another driver, Hunt said.<\/p>\n

The man then pointed the gun at deputies and the officers fired back, the sheriff said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

OSBI: Homeowner shoots, kills man inside home<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nCHOCTAW COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) \u2013 Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are looking into the death of a Hugo man.<\/p>\n

Just before midnight, dispatchers received a 911 call about a shooting near Sawyer, Oklahoma.<\/p>\n

Choctaw County deputies and Choctaw Tribal police responded to the scene and found 29-year-old Lonnie Cole dead outside of the
\nhome.<\/p>\n

Based on the initial investigation, authorities say the homeowner arrived at the house and found Cole in his home.<\/p>\n

Choctaw County asked the OSBI for assistance.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
