The tone deaf Biden Administration suffered major, cascading disappointments yesterday. Contrawise, it was a very good day for American Constitutionalists.<\/p>\n

His major Covid vax mandate using OSHA as a vehicle to force private industry to interfere with some 84 million employee’s medical issues failed SCOTUS review along ideological lines, 6-3. The court did uphold by a slim majority the Health and Human Services (HHS) requirement for vaxxed workers in medical facilities that receive federal monies such as Medicare and Medicaid. Render unto Caesar.<\/p>\n

The effort to eliminate the Senate filibuster rule, where a 60% majority is required to pass legislation also crashed and burned. The filibuster was designed to force consensus among Senators in negotiating legislation, rather than a simple majority as in the House of Representatives. Two Democrat Senators could not be convinced of the rule change, so the initiative failed exactly as predicted.<\/p>\n

If eliminated, a 50-50 Senate party line vote with the Veep as a tie-breaker would have fundamentally changed State elections using the mis-named voting rights bill. That Federal control over State elections is patently unconstitutional mattered not to the far left led Democrat party.<\/p>\n

All this, and more. For those who still believe in Leprechauns and political polls, Quinnipiac University has calculated Joe’s Handlers approval rating at a stunning 33%.<\/p>\n

Biden just had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. And it’s going to get worse.<\/h3>\n

President Joe Biden took two huge losses Thursday that likely will be the final nails in the coffin of the big and hopeful agenda that Democrats were counting on as we speed into the 2022 election season from hell.<\/p>\n

First, Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, a fellow Democrat, announced that although she supports the voting rights bill, she’s not willing to do what it would take to make it happen. The filibuster. I’m talking about killing the filibuster.<\/p>\n

This came only two days after the president made such an impassioned speech in support of knocking off the filibuster that Republicans essentially called it offensive. And even one Democratic senator said Biden, who pledged a year ago to unite Americans, went too far in the speech.<\/p>\n

Then, President Joe barely had time to shake off Sinema’s body slam Thursday afternoon when the U.S. Supreme Court knocked him down again.<\/p>\n

The court ruled that the Biden administration doesn’t have the authority to force employers to require that workers either have to be vaccinated or undergo regular testing for COVID. The employer mandate was a key part of Biden’s attempt to get control of a pandemic that has proven to be uncontrollable.<\/p>\n

Basically, if voter suppression and helping spread the latest COVID variant are on your to-do list, now is your time to shine. Too bad for Democrats and Biden’s agenda, his shine is wearing off.<\/p>\n

And these latest setbacks land at exactly the wrong time for an administration reeling from confusing Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, supply chain shortages that won’t end, the highest inflation rate since the early days of the Reagan presidency, and an approval rating that makes former President Donald Trump look like the most popular kid in school.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Psaki insists White House, Biden will \u2018keep fighting\u2019 on voting rights<\/h3>\n

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki put an optimistic spin on President Biden\u2019s certain defeat on election reform, saying Thursday that \u201cwe\u2019re gonna keep fighting till the votes are had.\u201d<\/p>\n

Psaki refused to concede defeat despite President Biden admitting after a lunch meeting with Senate Democrats that \u201cwe missed this time\u201d after he pushed to scrap the 60-vote legislative filibuster so that Democrats could pass the measures with a simple majority.<\/p>\n

CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins pressed Psaki on whether Biden accepts that he won\u2019t sway Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) and Joe Manchin (D-WVa.) to change Senate rules allow for a bare majority vote on the legislation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
