For-profit organizations are also having a hard time getting people to apply for employment.<\/p>\n<p>One of the benefits, of unemployment benefits related to the pandemic, is it gave a large percentage of Millennial and Generation Z members a taste of not having to work. No longer did they have to deal with &#8220;rude bosses&#8221; and &#8220;rude customers&#8221; to get a paycheck. There&#8217;s more! There is an increasing amount of hostility to the idea of working. The demand for $15 minimum wage is just the surface. The younger generations want the work environment to operate a certain way that accommodates their liking.<\/p>\n<p>They want these requirements so much that many are willing to remain unemployed. There is a subreddit, &#8220;r\/antiwork&#8221;, that helps put this &#8220;psychology&#8221; into context.
