Neighbor shoots suspected burglar seen taking items out of Arlington home, police say<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA neighbor of an Arlington homeowner opened fire on a suspected burglar Monday afternoon after the suspect was seen with several items taken from inside of a residence, Arlington police said.<\/p>\n

The burglary suspect suffered gunshot wounds in the incident and he was taken to a local hospital. He is expected to survive.<\/p>\n

The suspect will face a charge of burglary of a habitation, Arlington police said Tuesday. No one else is facing charges in ongoing investigation as of Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Police have not identified the burglary suspect.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nA Philadelphia health care worker, who is licensed to carry a firearm, fought back against an armed assailant Monday night, shooting him multiple times during an attempted carjacking, authorities said.<\/p>\n

The incident happened just before midnight in the 1700 block of Folsom Street, Philadelphia police said.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old victim was sitting in his Honda Accord when an 18-year-old Black male came up to the driver side door and pointed a gun at him, police said. The victim then drew his own gun and fired five shots at the suspect, striking him in the cheek, neck and right thumb.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Resident fatally shoots home invader who had driven through restaurant, into house, OSBI says<\/strong><\/p>\n

A home invasion suspect in Chickasha who had crashed into a nearby restaurant was killed by the resident after allegedly assaulting the man’s wife, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation<\/p>\n

Chickasha police responded at 4:53 a.m. Tuesday to the 1100 block of South Fifth Street after a homeowner called police to report he had fatally shot a man who had entered the house.<\/p>\n

The home invader had reportedly just crashed through several nearby yards after driving a vehicle “through a nearby KFC restaurant causing damage,” OSBI said in a news release later Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The suspect allegedly backed into a house, alerting the homeowner with the commotion, and began banging on the windows at a home next door.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
