They suspected Russell of the killing, charging documents obtained by the outlet said.

Deputies eventually found Russell wearing gloves, but he ran into a building where a short standoff came to a close and deputies took him into custody, the documents reportedly said.

Deputies then neared Flaget’s vehicle and found the body naked from the waist down in the passenger’s seat.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the officers noted duct tape bound the man’s wrists, and a portion of his thigh and genitals were cut away and missing.

“It appeared the parts were removed after death,” the East Idaho News report continued:

The following day, investigators served a search warrant at Russell’s home. Inside, detectives found tissue consistent with Flaget’s missing flesh. Investigators also found blood and tissue in a bowl inside the microwave. Some of the tissue indicated heat had been applied, possibly in the microwave for one to two minutes, according to court documents. Investigators could not locate one of Flaget’s testicles, his penis and a portion of the thigh that was removed from his body. Investigators wrote in their probable cause affidavit that they believe Russell ate the missing body parts.

“When dealing with death and carnage it’s a shock to our conscience,” Bonner County Detective Phillip Stella told the Bonners Ferry Herald. “As far as I know this is the first cannibalism charge in Idaho.”

Witnesses said the day of the killing, Russell appeared agitated and had been experiencing mental health problems.

“Court documents indicated while at a California hospital receiving psychiatric help in May, Russell reportedly told his family he wanted to ‘cut chunks of his skin off with a knife’ to ‘cure his brain,’ according to court documents,” the report stated.

After being taken into custody, Russell seemed to not understand his rights and made a comment about the property’s privacy, reportedly stating, “we don’t like non-family on it,” court documents noted.

Flaget’s obituary said he loved to joke and was known for his sense of humor.

“His absence has left a hole in many hearts, ‘Dammit Dave’ you are forever loved and missed,” the post read.

I really want to know how they came to the conclusion it had been run in the microwave for two to three minutes.

Source; Breitbart

Kentucky man fired gun out of hotel window, claimed to be shooting at aliens

A Kentucky man was charged over the weekend after he allegedly fired shots out of a hotel window and told police he was trying to shoot aliens, according to the Richmond Police Department.

Gunfire was reported around 3:27 a.m. Saturday at a hotel on Keeneland Drive, near Interstate 75, in Richmond, according to police. Officers responded and “discovered shots were being fired from a hotel window.”

Patrons in the hotel were evacuated, police said. Four of the wanton endangerment counts included wanton endangerment of a police officer.

Police said they found two handguns and a semiautomatic rifle. The girlfriend and driver of the stolen van took off on foot but later returned to the scene.

Kashontez’s father, Kasseem Grigler, spoke about the enormous loss of his son:

“It’s hard to cope. We haven’t had his funeral services yet. Until we can get that under control, it’s going to be hard to move on…It hurts, it’s hurting all of us.”

Kasseem said that Kashontez’s girlfriend, the one who allegedly stole the van, is also hurting over what he terms as an accident. He said:

“She [the girlfriend] was my son’s homecoming date. It’s not even easy for her. They were friends and it was an accident.”

Kasseem then went on to speak about why he and his family have decided the victim of the stolen vehicle is somehow culpable for the death of his son.

Kasseem believes that the victim of the stolen van had left the keys inside of the vehicle and Kashontez and his girlfriend could not avoid the temptation of stealing it. He said:

“The car was in the neighborhood and a group of kids; they saw the car and the temptation was there. Because of that, I lost my son.”

Kasseem seemingly does not find any fault with Kashontez or his girlfriend for committing grand theft when they stole the van, but rather finds the victim at fault for his son’s death.

Kasseem somehow thinks that this situation compares to a gunowner leaving their weapon accessible to children.

Kasseem said:

“You shouldn’t leave your keys in the car. You have teens walking up and down the street and that could be a liability.”

Whether the victim of the car theft holds any civil or criminal liability remains to be seen, but it is doubtful that any court would rule in that manner.

For the owner to hold any culpability, civil or criminal, the victim would have had to knowingly and intentionally allowed the van to be taken which does not seem to be the case.

Regardless of how the case plays out, the loss of a child is tragic, especially when it could have easily been avoided by the van not being accessible or the teens not committing grand theft in the first place.

The family has set up a GoFundMe account in hopes of raising money to go towards Kashontez’s funeral expenses. As of now, the website has raised just over $1,000 of their $8,000 goal.

The Aurora Police Department has not made any arrests so far for this criminal investigation as it is still ongoing.

Source; Law Enforcement Today

Paralyzed deaf-mute teenager attempts to rob a jewelry shop in Brazil with a fake gun held with his FEET

This is the moment a paralyzed deaf-mute teenager tried to rob a jewelry store in Brazil by aiming a fake gun with his feet.

The astonishing incident unfolded Monday afternoon at a shop in Canela, Rio Grande de Sul, when the 19-year-old placed a threatening note on the counter using his feet.

The note from the suspect, who authorities say has cerebral palsy and cannot move his hands, read: ‘Hand over everything. Don’t raise attention.’

A store surveillance camera captured the disabled teen in his wheelchair before he aimed a plastic toy gun wedged between his bare feet at the counter.

A person, who appeared to be a customer, walked away while the employee confronted the teenager, whose name has not been released by authorities.

The jewelry shop employee said the paralyzed teenager had been in the store for about 10 minutes and that he initially thought he was begging.

A customer had already given the teenager money and the store clerk said he felt sympathy towards him before he was given the robbery note.

‘Then he pulled the gun out with his feet.
