California would-be victim manages to get robbers’ gun, uses it against them shooting one dead<\/strong>
\nThree armed men in South Los Angeles attempted to rob the man early Saturday morning<\/em><\/p>\n

\nA man near the University of Southern California fought back against three armed would-be robbers, killing one of them with a gun they dropped during the altercation.<\/p>\n

Three armed men in their 20s exited a vehicle early Saturday morning in South Los Angeles and attempted to rob the unidentified man, Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson Norma Eisenman told the Los Angeles Times.<\/p>\n

An altercation broke out after the victim resisted complying with the suspects. One of the suspected robbers then dropped his handgun, and the victim picked it up and shot the suspect, according to police.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

PORTLAND, Ore. \u2014 A person inside an apartment in Northeast Portland shot and killed a man who police say was armed with a handgun and fired a shot after trying to force his way inside the apartment on Monday.<\/p>\n

On Friday, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) identified the victim as 41-year-old Omar Greely. After an autopsy, the Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office ruled his death a homicide.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened at 10:52 a.m. Monday at an apartment on Northeast 66th Avenue near Broadway. PPB said the person who shot and killed Greely called 911, stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
