In what is hopfully his last gasp, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio has decreed that all private business employees in the city will be vaxxed for the Covid virus. Exactly how this will happen by his deadline of 27 December has been left unsaid.<\/p>\n

Also on the vax list are 5-to-11 year olds, and children 12 and up must show proof of two vax shots in order to participate in public activities.<\/p>\n

To call this overreach is a gross understatement.<\/p>\n

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio on Monday issued a “preemptive strike,” mandating that all private sector employees in the Big Apple be vaccinated against COVID-19 amid the new threat posed by the omicron variant beginning Dec. 27.<\/p>\n

De Blasio, whose term is set to expire in a matter of weeks, broke the news during an interview on MSNBC\u2019s “Morning Joe” Monday morning.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ve got omicron as a new factor, we\u2019ve got the colder weather, which is going to really create additional challenges with the delta variant, we\u2019ve got holiday gatherings,” de Blasio said.<\/p>\n

“We in NYC have decided to use a preemptive strike to really do something bold to stop the further growth of COVID,” de Blasio said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
