The Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services are considering payments in order to settle ACLU lawsuits filed on behalf of families who crossed into the US from Mexico illegally. The families were separated under former President Trump\u2019s \u201czero tolerance\u201d policy in 2018.<\/p>\n

The average demand in each lawsuit amounts to around $3.4 million per family; the Kurrent Klown Krew is considering $450,000 per person, or around $1 million per family.<\/p>\n

EXCLUSIVE: Republicans in the House on Thursday will introduce a bill to block a reported plan by the Biden administration to pay millions of dollars to illegal immigrants separated under the Trump administration \u2013 as President Biden has sought to dismiss the reports.<\/p>\n

Rep. Tom McClintock, the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee\u2019s Subcommittee on Immigration and Citizenship, will introduce the Illegal Immigration Payoff Prohibition Act, which amends 18 USC 2414 \u2013 which gives the attorney general the authority to enter settlement agreements.<\/p>\n

The bill would block the attorney general from making any settlement payments to illegal immigrants that directly arise from their violation of immigration laws, including laws that criminalize illegal border crossings and that make a migrant inadmissible for attempting to enter a country illegally at a port of entry.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Biden was questioned about the reports by Fox News’ Peter Doocy on Wednesday and flatly rejected them \u2013 calling them “garbage” when asked if it would incentivize further illegal immigration.<\/p>\n

“If you guys keep sending that garbage out? Yeah, but it’s not true,” he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The ACLU immediately countered, postulating FJB “may not have been fully briefed” on the actions of his own administration. Hey, there’s always 10% that doesn’t get the word. Seems FJB’s handlers neglected to ensure he was actually awake during that brief. Or gave any thought on how this travesty will open the illegal floodgates even wider.<\/p>\n
