Jeff LPH 3 sends in,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A Florida man is accused of killing his neighbor in a dispute over a cat that wandered into his yard, sheriff&#8217;s officials said.<\/p>\n<p>Clifford Anthony Bliss Jr., 58, became angry when the cat went into his yard Wednesday, the Marion County Sheriff&#8217;s Office said.<\/p>\n<p>He went to his neighbor&#8217;s home in Umatilla and threatened to shoot the cat, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>James Arland Taylor Jr., 41, asked him not to shoot the cat, according to deputies. That&#8217;s when Bliss shot Taylor, they said.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies said they interviewed a woman who was at Taylor&#8217;s home when Bliss knocked on the door. She said he was angry about the cat and that Taylor asked him not to shoot the cat, the Ocala Star-Banner reported.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor was shot at least once in the chest, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>Bliss was arrested without incident. He is charged with second-degree murder and was being held without bond in the Marion County Jail. But an incident overnight has the Barron County [Wisconsin] Sheriff\u2019s Department asking, \u201cWhere do we begin with this one?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The department shared an image of a truck in the water, with an apparent ice fishing house behind it, not so much a thin-ice warning as it was a no-ice warning.<\/p>\n<p>The image was posted to Facebook Saturday morning, with the caption: \u201cTHE.ICE.IS.NOT.READY.YET.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The caption on the photo indicates that investigators say alcohol was a factor, and that it was the third incident involving operating while intoxicated that evening.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Drunk driving is not something that practice makes better apparently.<\/p>\n<p>Source; <a href=\"https:\/\/minnesota.cbslocal.com\/2021\/10\/25\/truck-goes-through-ice-in-barron-county-in-dwi-sheriffs-dept-reports\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CBS Local<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>State worker left cocaine, scale at work<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p>An employee in the [New York] state&#8217;s Department of Taxation and Finance faces a felony drug charge after State Police said he left 6.5 grams of cocaine and a scale for measuring drugs at work.<\/p>\n<p>Police said they charged him with felony sale and possession of a controlled substance but so far it is unclear if the alleged sale took place at work.<\/p>\n<p>State Police investigated after co-workers at the agency found a plastic bag containing a white, powdery substance on Oct. 21.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers said the substance tested positive for cocaine; they also found a digital scale nearby.<\/p>\n<p>State Police said their investigation revealed that the 44-year-old Albany man dropped the items as he was leaving the office.<\/p>\n<p>Charged with felony and misdemeanor drug possession offenses, he was arraigned Monday in City Court and sent to the Albany County jail on $10,000 bail.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Source; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesunion.com\/news\/article\/Troopers-State-worker-dropped-cocaine-scale-at-16568959.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Times Union<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Man accused of having sex with horses in NOLA jailed for same crime in California<\/h3>\n<p>This guy was trying to see a man about a horse.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A man wanted for allegedly having sex with horses in New Orleans\u2019 City Park has been arrested under suspicion of doing the same thing in California, jail records show.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Marin County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Koshaun Dion Baker was arrested on Sept. 21 by National Park Service Rangers. He is facing charges including cruelty to animals and sexual assault on an animal. His bail has been set at $150,000.<\/p>\n<p>Rangers arrested Baker after an incident at the Presidio Riding Club. Rangers told the Marin Independent Journal someone had broken into the building, vandalized it, and released about 10 horses.<\/p>\n<p>Baker was identified as the suspect and booked into jail.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for the Golden Gate National Recreation Area declined to elaborate on the alleged sex crimes, saying only that none of the horses required medical attention.<\/p>\n<p>Four horses were identified as victims of animal cruelty, but not specifically sexual conduct.<\/p>\n<p>New Orleans police have been searching for Baker since last December after he was identified as the suspect who committed \u201cunnatural sex acts\u201d with at least two horses.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This begs the question, what are &#8220;natural sex acts&#8221; one may legally do with a horse? She definitely resembles a donkey more than a horse anyway.<\/p>\n<p>Source; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox8live.com\/2021\/10\/27\/man-accused-having-sex-with-horses-nola-jailed-same-crime-california\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fox 8 Live<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Suspect leaves ID behind after stealing catalytic converter<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p>Sacramento County investigators said they tracked down a suspect after he allegedly left his ID behind at the scene of a catalytic converter theft.<\/p>\n<p>The morning of Oct. 21, the Sacramento County Sheriff\u2019s Office said it got a call from a citizen who said their catalytic converter had been stolen earlier that morning. Under their vehicle, they found a saw blade and a California ID.<\/p>\n<p>Sacramento County Sheriff\u2019s Sgt. Rod Grassmann said the ID belonged to 34-year-old Timothy Andrew Eccel, who was on parole after serving prison time for first-degree burglary.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies went to Eccel\u2019s home where they found a reciprocating saw in his vehicle with a blade that matched the one found under the victim\u2019s vehicle, Sgt. Grassmann said.<\/p>\n<p>A laptop belonging to the San Juan Unified School District was also found on his bed.
