In today’s world of news it’s becoming increasingly hard to decipher what’s true or not. Even when a leftist “journalist” interviews and reports on a leftist icon like the Notorious RBG herself. For those who don’t deify Supreme Court justices, that’s Ruth Bader Ginsburg I’m referring to. The so-called journalist is Katie Couric (pictured).<\/p>\n

Couric sat down for an interview with RBG in 2016, long before she passed away last year. During the interview, the elder jurist spoke some common sense truth to Couric on the topic of the National Anthem protesters. Apparently Couric couldn’t take it, let her personal political opinions override her journalistic integrity, and justifies it by saying the 83-year-old justice was “elderly and probably didn’t fully understand the question.”<\/p>\n

Whatever your views on Ginsberg’s legal or political opinions, she was mentally sharp. Especially so in 2016.<\/p>\n

The Post Millenial outs Couric<\/a> (who writes about this in her new memoir) and quotes what Justice Ginsberg said about the flag protesters;<\/p>\n

Ginsburg supposedly said those who kneel show ‘contempt for a government that has made it possible for their parents and grandparents to live a decent life.’ The story in question, published by Yahoo! News in 2016, saw Couric quote, Ginsburg, stating that refusing to stand for the anthem was ‘dumb and disrespectful’ but omitted more problematic remarks. The former host writes she thought the justice, who was 83 at the time, was ‘elderly and probably didn’t fully understand the question.’<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The left’s paragon of jurisprudence, who in 2016 nearing the apex of her popularity as the poster child of the Resistance movement, was unable to understand a simple question. Even better, the Justice elaborated and clearly understood the question and gave a very reasoned answer. Naturally, since it didn’t align with her worldview, Couric omitted the more problematic parts.<\/p>\n

When news of this broke, a retired US Army lieutenant colonel, Samantha Nerove, took to Twitter to voice an experience she had with Couric’s production team. Here’s Colonel Nerove’s words;<\/p>\n
