Who is\u00a0really<\/em> running the show? That’s what we’re left wondering when Biden’s “Climate Czar” former Secretary of State John Kerry told French media that Biden had no clue whatsoever was going on when France (our oldest and first ally) recalled their ambassador for the first time in our history.<\/p>\n

Fox News reports<\/a> on the matter;<\/p>\n

White House Climate Envoy John Kerry went viral on Tuesday after telling French television that President Biden was unaware of the spat between the U.S. and France as it fueled last month.<\/p>\n

During a Monday interview with BFMTV, Kerry attempted to smooth over the international dustup after France expressed it was blindsided by the Biden administration’s tri-lateral agreement between the U.S., U.K, and Australia over the exchange of submarine technology so much so that it prompted French President Emmanuel Macron to briefly pull his ambassador to the U.S. out of the country.<\/p>\n

“[Biden] asked me. He said, \u2018What\u2019s the situation?’ And I explained- he had not been aware of that. He literally had not been aware of what had transpired,” Kerry said towards the end of the interview. “And I don\u2019t want to go into the details of it, but suffice it to say, that the president, my president is very committed to strengthening the relationship and making sure that this is a small event of the past and moving on to the much more important future.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I don’t fully expect the President (especially one such as Biden who was never a very sharp tool and is clearly on his way down) to know everything that’s going on. They can’t possibly. This is why they have staff and advisors that number into the hundreds.<\/p>\n

One would hope though that a major diplomatic kerfuffle involving three of our closest allies would hit the Pres’s radar. Obviously this information was kept from him if he was entirely in the dark until after it happened. That means these major foreign policy decisions are being made without ever advising the one man who is charged with our foreign policy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
