\nA carjacking suspect wielding a bow and arrow was in custody in Georgia on Tuesday after a standoff with police, authorities said.<\/p>\n

Atlanta police were called to the scene of a carjacking just after 6 a.m. and found a female victim who reported that a Caucasian male took her 2014 Toyota Camry, the Atlanta Police Department said.<\/p>\n

She said the man was armed with a bow and arrow when he approached her while she was inside her vehicle. He then fired an arrow into the windshield and demanded she exit the car, police said.<\/p>\n

Police said investigating officers learned that a man matching the suspect\u2019s description and armed with a similar weapon had unsuccessfully tried carjacking two motorists prior to taking the Toyota Camry.<\/p>\n

The victim was not injured during the incident.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Officers responded to the 300 block of Hollywood Street about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday for a carjacking.<\/p>\n

According to police, the victim to police that the suspect attempted to pull him from his car and then a fight ensued.<\/p>\n

Both the victim and suspect were injured.<\/p>\n

The suspect was taken to Methodist University in critical condition and did not survive, police said.<\/p>\n

The victim was taken to Regional One in non-critical condition.<\/p>\n

Police said the suspect attempted to carjack another person shortly before.<\/p>\n

This is an ongoing investigation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
