Possible robbery victim hits suspect with truck in east valley<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA possible robbery victim apparently hit and injured the man who robbed him in the east valley Thursday morning, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.<\/p>\n

An altercation was reported around 2 a.m. in the parking lot of El Rincon De Los Remedios at Washington Avenue and Pecos Road, Lt. Geiger with LVMPD said.<\/p>\n

“The male who was hit with the truck potentially robbed the male that hit him just prior,” Geiger said.<\/p>\n

The man hit with the truck was taken to UMC with critical injuries, though his condition is described as stable.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

GBI investigating shooting in Screven County; property owner claims self-defense<\/strong><\/p>\n

SCREVEN COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) – A weekend shooting in Screven County leaves one man dead and another claiming self-defense.<\/p>\n

GBI agents and sheriff\u2019s investigators in Screven County are trying to piece together what happened late Saturday night. Sheriff Mike Kile said that just after midnight, they got a call saying someone had been shot.<\/p>\n

They went to a home along Highway 301 south of Sylvania. They found a man dead.<\/p>\n

The man who lived on the property says someone drove up his driveway and went past his house to the back of the property where there\u2019s a second house. He took his rifle and drove back to check it out.<\/p>\n

He tells investigators the drive got out and came at him aggressively. He fired twice; he says in self-defense. The sheriff says they\u2019re trying to figure out what exactly happened and why.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we thought he was going to run, we\u2019d go ahead and arrest him. But he\u2019s not going to run. In his mind, he\u2019s done nothing to run from,\u201d Sheriff Kile said.<\/p>\n

The sheriff says they\u2019re awaiting autopsy results that could possibly confirm or refute the man\u2019s story.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
