Calgary man charged with gun offenses posing as a soldier<\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n

CALGARY \u2013 A Calgary man accused of posing as a former military man and offering survival training under false ID is now charged.<\/p>\n

The investigation began in May after police were briefed on a man who runs a firearms training, survival training and self-defense company for women called Sheep Dog Enterprises from his home in southeast Calgary.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is alleged that the man was in possession of several firearms, had neither proper documentation nor a firearms license and was never connected to the military,\u201d the police said in a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe man is also believed to have forged documents and sneaked into veteran and law enforcement support groups.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police received a search warrant and the man\u2019s home was searched on July 6 when several firearms were confiscated along with several forged documents, falsified ID cards and body armor.<\/p>\n
