OCPD: Armed Man Shoots, Kills Robbery Suspect In Bricktown<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oklahoma City police said an armed suspect was shot to death in an attempted robbery Monday in Bricktown.<\/p>\n

According to police, this occurred at 150 E. Reno Ave near the U-Haul Moving & Storage facility.<\/p>\n

Police said the suspect approached two people, pulled out a gun, and demanded their property. According to the report, one of the victims then pulled out his own weapon and shot the alleged robber.<\/p>\n

Officers quickly arrived on scene and began CPR on the suspect.<\/p>\n

The suspect died at the scene.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Woman pulls knife, victim wields gun to defend himself<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nAug. 23\u2014An woman who brandished a knife was stopped when the victim pulled his firearm as she came toward him.<\/p>\n

On Aug. 17, Tahlequah Police Sgt. Justin Leatherwood was dispatched to Sequoyah Park on a report of a woman who pulled a knife on a couple who were taking photos there.<\/p>\n

Russell and Deborah Armstrong said they stopped by the pavilion for photos, and the woman told them they couldn’t take pictures there.<\/p>\n

“Armstrong stated that the female pulled out an orange box knife and came toward them,” Leatherwood said. “At that time, Russell pulled his firearm out and the female stopped, and the [Armstrongs] then called the police.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Border Patrol Long Range Tracker Aircraft Disrupts Major Cartel Cocaine Distribution<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWASHINGTON, D.C. \u2013 Air and Marine Operations (AMO) National Air Security Operations Center, P-3 Long Range Tracker and Airborne Early Warning crews and partners disrupted the flow of 113,779 pounds of cocaine in drug source and transit zones through the end of the third quarter of Fiscal Year 2021. It is estimated that United States Southern Command counter-narcotics operations involving Air and Marine Operations, federal and international partners denied transnational criminal organizations more than two billion dollars between October 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021.<\/p>\n

National Air Security Operations Center P-3 capabilities are essential to United States Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) Operations, contributing to an increased law enforcement presence in narcotics transit zones. This partnership bolsters support to the U.S. and international law enforcement by sharing information and intelligence to help expand target packages.<\/p>\n

Since the beginning of Fiscal Year 2021, AMO P-3 crews have flown 5,485 flight hours. Eighty-five percent of those flight hours have been piloted in collaboration with SOUTHCOM partners. For every hour flown by a P-3 aircrew during this timeframe, federal and international authorities stopped the flow of 24.3 pounds of cocaine.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
