VIDEO: Phoenix homeowner fires gun at robbery suspects breaking into home<\/strong>
\nA homeowner defended his home after a security camera notifies him of intruders.<\/em><\/p>\n

PHOENIX \u2014 A Phoenix homeowner was seen on video shooting at suspects who were trying to break into a home, and police are asking for tips to find them.<\/p>\n

The Phoenix Police Department shared a video of the attempted robbery on Tuesday. Four men can be seen kicking open a front door when the gunshot goes off at which point the suspects flee.<\/p>\n

Police said the homeowner was alerted by a motion sensor and the home was equipped with surveillance cameras.<\/p>\n

The suspects are still at large. Police said the four fled in a gray car.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Police: Clerk shoots, kills person trying to rob 7-Eleven in Norfolk<\/strong>
\nInvestigators said Javier Garcia, 28, was trying to rob the convenience store on Colley Avenue in Ghent when a worker shot him. Garcia died at the hospital.<\/em><\/p>\n

NORFOLK, Va. A man was shot and killed Sunday night after he tried to rob a 7-Eleven store, the Norfolk Police Department said.<\/p>\n

Around midnight, police responded to the store at 1713 Colley Avenue after a gunshot victim was reported.<\/p>\n

Officers found Javier Garcia, 28, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Investigators think a clerk shot Garcia while he was trying to rob the store.<\/p>\n

Police haven’t shared the clerk’s name.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
