This is a common theme among radical Islamists. Achieving an Islamic government in their own country, one that runs by their narrative, is not the end goal, or their end state. In addition to establishing a radical Islamic government in the country that they’re in, they want to leverage the assets of that country to help further their ultimate goals.<\/p>\n

Their ultimate objective is for the entire world to be Islam. If one wonders if they would use nuclear weapons if they had them, all one has to do is look at the September 11, 2001 attacks. They do not think like Westerners, nor do they possess a Western style outlook on life. It’s their version of Islam or death; if you’re lucky you could live as a “second class citizen” paying extra money to the government while averting conversion.<\/p>\n

In the video, Khalid said the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan was united and strong and operating under the leadership of Hakeemullah Mehsud. Khalid outlined five \u201cimportant goals\u201d of the Taliban: overthrow the Pakistani institutions; release both Pakistani and \u201cforeign\u201d fighters; impose sharia law; obtain a nuclear weapon; and establish a global caliphate.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, we aim to counter the Pakistani government, its intelligence agencies, and its army, which are each against Islam and have oppressed the mujahideen and their families,\u201d Khalid said, according to the SITE translation. The Taliban want to \u201cavenge the oppression of the mujahideen in the tribal and urban areas\u201d as well as the \u201chumiliation of the mujahideen in Pakistani prisons.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOur second objective is to seek the safe release of Pakistani and foreign mujahideen in Pakistan,\u201d Khalid continued. The term \u201cforeign mujahideen\u201d refers to members of al Qaeda and other outside terror groups such as the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n

Khalid said the Taliban want to \u201creplace the English system of democracy with Islamic Shariah\u201d<\/span> <\/strong>as \u201cthe Pakistani system has nothing to do with Islam.\u201d<\/p>\n

Khalid also said that the Taliban want to seize Pakistan\u2019s nuclear weapons and \u201cother resources,\u201d including the army, to defend Islam.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAnother objective of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan is to use Pakistan\u2019s strengths including the atomic bomb, army, and other resources, to guide other Muslim countries and for the survival of Islam,\u201d<\/span> <\/strong>Khalid said. \u201cPakistan\u2019s soil, Pakistan\u2019s people and Pakistan\u2019s mujahideen must not be used to serve American interests, but must be used for the survival and integrity of Islam.\u201d<\/p>\n

Finally, Khalid said that the Taliban would continue their fight even after taking over Pakistan and Afghanistan.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cOur objectives are as clear as the orders in the Qur\u2019an, which is our constitution.<\/span><\/strong> Allah said in the Qur\u2019an: \u2018Fight against hypocrites and apostates till there is no more fitna [sedition],’\u201d he said. \u201cSo, until Islam is implemented in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and the Caliphate is established across the world, our jihad will continue. This is our first and foremost objective.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
