\nViral Video: Man Holds Burglary Suspects at Gunpoint Outside of His Parent\u2019s House<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nA video showing a North Carolina man holding burglary suspects at gunpoint outside of a house has gone viral.<\/p>\n

The footage shows Stephen Routh using a pistol to keep the suspects in place as they cower on the back lawn while Asheboro police officers rush to the scene.<\/p>\n

Routh said that he watches over the house, which belongs to his parents, and went over with his gun after receiving a call about some strangers being on the property.<\/p>\n

He said that when he arrived he saw three people trying to exit the back door and he showed them his gun and told them to get on the ground.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Deputies: Burglary suspect fatally shot during fourth burglary incident at Eustis home in 24 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n

EUSTIS, Fla. \u2014
\nA would-be burglar was shot and killed by a homeowner on Tuesday after a Eustis residence was targeted by thieves four times in a span of just 24 hours, deputies said.<\/p>\n

Officials with the Lake County Sheriff\u2019s Office said deputies responded to a burglary on Dee Street in the Pine Lakes area of Eustis around 5 a.m.<\/p>\n

The homeowner told deputies he shot a man who confronted him on his property, investigators said.<\/p>\n

Deputies said the homeowner was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries that he suffered while fighting with the suspected burglar.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
