\nLil Durk and his girlfriend India Cox were recently victims of an attempted home invasion, during which the couple exchanged gunfire with the intruders, according to police. On Sunday (July 11), several unidentified individuals entered Durk\u2019s property, which is located in the 2300 block of Northern Oak Drive, around 5 a.m., according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. After being alerted of the intruders, Durk and Cox both discharged weapons, however, neither the couple nor any of the intruders were injured during the shootout.<\/p>\n

The incident was first reported by DJ Akademiks during a Twitch livestream on Monday (July 12), with the media personality telling fans that Durk\u2019s home was swarmed by police following a shooting at the residence, according to sources in the area. \u201cLil Durk\u2019s residence in Atlanta had heavy police presence and was possibly raided due to an investigation about a shooting and other crimes,\u201d said Akademiks. \u201cThey said there was an alleged shooting around where he lived at.\u201d<\/p>\n

Akademiks continued, telling viewers, \u201cThis is a gated community. They called him the victim. His neighbors and people that lived in that community have reported it to me that like, \u2018Yo, Durk live down there, and there are mad cops. FBI is trying to execute a search warrant.\u2019\u201d While Akademiks\u2019 sources may have been correct about a shooting involving Durk, there was no apparent raid on his home, as he previously speculated.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nDetroit boutique owner Bianca Chambers took action herself this week after her Mercedes-Benz vehicle was allegedly stolen.<\/p>\n

Two days after the car went missing, Chambers spotted the suspect inside a local barbershop \u2013 so she went in and dragged the man along the shop\u2019s floor by his dreadlocks, FOX 2 of Detroit reported.<\/p>\n

“At that point, I was like, \u2018I\u2019m not letting this man walk again,\u2019” Chambers told the station.<\/p>\n

Customers at the barbershop helped Chambers make a citizens\u2019 arrest until authorities could take over, the station reported.<\/p>\n

Prior to confronting the suspect, Chambers slashed the tires on her own vehicle, parked outside the barbershop, to prevent the suspect from driving away, FOX 2 reported.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
