Before Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley was trying to learn about “white rage”, he allegedly was concerned President Trump would stage a coup after his defeat in the 2020 election. The book is from two “journalists” at the Washington Post (the far-left rag that isn’t even good as a fish wrap). Despite making many quotes from General Milley, some of which directly slander Trump supporters as “Nazis”, it seems like it’s all based on anonymous sources.<\/p>\n
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is also quoted in the book, which he has now publicly refuted. Milley has yet to refute the claims and his office said he would not be making public comments on the book. That would tend to lead a reasonable person to believe that this vitriolic hate and demonization is something he agrees with.<\/p>\n
Among calling Trump supporters “Nazis”, Milley worried about the military being used to stage a coup, thought MAGA rally attendees were the “modern American equivalent of ‘brownshirts in the streets,'” compared the Proud Boys to Nazis, said that “We’re going to put a ring of steel around this city and the Nazis aren’t getting in” for Biden’s inauguration.<\/p>\n
More chilling than those statements attributed to General Milley are his comments on the potential for a coup. \u201cThey may try, but they\u2019re not going to f**king succeed,\u201d Milley reportedly said. \u201cYou can\u2019t do this without the military. You can\u2019t do this without the CIA and the FBI. We\u2019re the guys with the guns.\u201d That could be the single best response for why we have a Second Amendment. Remember that line. “We’re the guys with the guns” and they’re going to be hiding behind a “ring of steel”. Don’t go getting any ideas now.<\/p>\n
Milley and company also allegedly discussed Trump using nuclear weapons after January 6. Use them on whom, they don’t say, but in the last couple of years prominent Democrats<\/strong> have suggested or implied that US nuclear weapons would be used on the American people should they rise up. Representative Swalwell (D-CA) in 2018 and just this year President Biden implied the same. So they’re not just the guys with guns, they’re the guys with guns, F-15’s, and nukes. Starting to sound like the fearmongering rhetoric employed by dictators, no?<\/p>\n
