ATF-nominee David Chipman<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Biden’s nominee to head the ATF, David Chipman, has drawn widespread and well-founded criticism from Republicans and the right. After a career at the ATF as a special agent, Chipman became a anti-gun activist, lobbyist, and fundraiser. During his ATF career he had a role in the botched Waco Branch Davidian raid that killed scores, including women and children. Allegedly, he was involved in the after-actions investigation, but there is a photo circulating out there from the case that shows a man who Chipman says isn’t him, but looks like him, posing in front of the still-smoldering wreckage of the compound.<\/p>\n

Anyway, Poe sends in this latest look at the newest of many, many reasons why gun owners do not want to see this anti-gun zealot (who during his career may have once lost his duty firearm) to head the ATF (which has regulatory authority to essentially create new restrictions to gun ownership). It turns out that Chipman’s wife is the current DOJ point person for all contact pertaining to the ATF. This would make her one of his direct subordinates should his nomination be confirmed.<\/p>\n

Many scandals and conflicts of interest around Biden\u2019s pick (David Chipman) to lead the ATF are circling. His current and past ties to gun control groups, his connection to the Waco massacre while with the ATF, him losing his gun while an ATF agent, etc\u2026 etc\u2026 etc\u2026 All valid concerns, but we have something much more concrete that can\u2019t be denied in any way, shape or form. It would also be a massive conflict of interest for him if he were to be nominated to lead the ATF.<\/p>\n

A few days ago, we published an article on our website that details some information we found regarding David Chipman\u2019s wife, Tara. We found that she donated over $21,000 to federal democrat candidates in the 2020 election, is vocally hostile to the GOP, and shockingly (sarcasm), she is a proponent of gun control. So, why is this a big deal and what does it have to do with ATF director nominee David? Well, Tara, his wife, currently works at ATF HQ and is the head of the Secretariat Division for the entire ATF! In fact, she is listed in the DOJ Correspondence Management Handbook as the main contact for all Department of Justice related inquires that involve the ATF. This information was obtained via FOIA in late 2019. We also published an article on this find and added a little bit more to it (including how she thinks Ashli Babbitt was a terrorist and anyone that is against her death is a terrorist too).<\/p>\n

So, not only would David be her boss if he\u2019s confirmed, we would have a husband and wife duo (the head of the ATF and the \u201cgatekeeper\u201c of into of the ATF) running the show for a lot of things for the bureau. Tara also had been very supportive of her husband\u2018s efforts while employed as a lobbyist for Giffords. In fact, late last year, she was helping him fundraise for the organization.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Remember always that President Biden said, \u201cNo amendment to the Constitution is absolute.”\u00a0 I know he thinks that about the Second Amendment, but his statement would encompass other amendments such as the Twenty-Second, Fourteenth, Fifteenth, and Sixteenth.
