Pizza Driver With Concealed-carry Permit Shoots, Kills Would-be Robber<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nAn employee with a concealed-carry permit shot and killed one of two men who allegedly attempted to rob an Ohio pizza shop Sunday night.<\/p>\n

According to WKEF, there were three employees in the Papa John\u2019s store in New Carlisle at about 11:04 p.m., when two men wielding weapons allegedly burst into the store, intending to rob it.<\/p>\n

One of the employees, a delivery driver, whipped out his legally concealed gun and fired it at the suspects. One was hit and fell to the floor, bleeding. The other ran out of the store.<\/p>\n

Another employee called 911 and said, \u201cSomeone just broke in and they were shot in self-defense.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, somebody just broke in?\u201d asked the 911 operator.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey came right in with weapons and tried to rob us,\u201d the employee responded. \u201cThey\u2019re still in here. There\u2019s one shot and wounded on the floor. One of them ran out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey had weapons. The one\u2019s got a big crowbar, the other one had what looked like a knife. And they were sprinting towards us,\u201d the employee said, adding, \u201cIt looked like a knife or like hedge clippers or something. They came sprinting in and ran up on us fast.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
