This is literally the nicest car in all of Minneapolis<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

“Stupid is as stupid does,” a simple but wise man once said. Could also be “Stupid is as stupid votes” in Minneapolis. In the “fiery, but mostly peaceful” (\u00a9 CNN) protests from the death of a violent convicted felon and drug fiend last year, the Minneapolis Police Department has seen record numbers of officers leave or retire. The largest police department in the state is dangerously understaffed. Their already low numbers at the beginning of 2020 have dwindled another third lower. Anyone with a lick of common sense could see that this will result in more crime. In all this “defund the police” nonsense they should really invest some money in a roving undertaker that can drive a hay wagon down the street ringing a bell and yelling “Bring out your dead!”<\/p>\n

The Star Tribune reports on the rise of gunshot violence (to the tune of 90%\u00a0increase<\/em> this year over last).<\/a> Homicides last year rose to 84 from 48 in 2019. They’re on pace to exceed 2020. They say “From Portland to Baltimore, cities across the country saw shootings and homicides soar in 2020, a trend that has continued in the first half of this year.” The article goes to great lengths to lay blame for the violence anywhere but where it belongs;<\/p>\n
