Poe sent in this US Army press release, titled Addressing Climate Change Threats<\/a>. As the Middle East once again descends to the brink of large-scale war, Russita is sending troops to the border with Ukraine, and China is making overtures that they intend to attack Taiwan, our President and his Secretary of Defense are instead focusing on the bigger issue facing the country militarily, “climate change.”<\/p>\n I do so like the moving goal posts on this. First it was “global cooling” and the coming ice age. When that didn’t pan out, they switched to “global warming” and made many prophecies of doom. Again, when the reality of the world didn’t mesh up with their prior reading to tea leaves, they now call it “climate change.” Climate change is a game where the rules are made up as you go and the points don’t matter. Everything is a sign of impending apocalypse. CEI does a pretty good job covering their 50 years of abysmal predictions.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n Here’s what the Army is working on. It’s a big press release, so I’ll hit some of the high points.<\/p>\n the Army is prioritizing climate change considerations in its threat picture, strategic plans, operations and installations. The Army is:<\/p>\n The Army stood up the Army Climate Change Working Group (ACCWG) on Mar. 10, 2021 and is developing the Army\u2019s Climate Strategy and Army Climate Action Plan.<\/p>\n The Army is:<\/p>\n I’m sure China, who’s belching out more greenhouse gases than the entire developed world\u00a0combined,<\/em> are greatly enjoying our military focus on identity politics and “green” technology. The vast majority of green tech tends to favor China anyway, since they have no reservations about making wind turbine blades that can’t be recycled and strip mining their country for rare-earths to make our non-recyclable batteries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\n
