There is a crack in the shell surrounding the House of Representatives. The headlong rush to alter what already works quite well, e.g., the Supreme Court, by adding four more justices to those already sitting is being thwarted by the one person who is so iron-fisted she could squeeze blood out of a turnip.<\/p>\n

From the article:\u00a0 \u00a0Speaker Nancy Pelosi<\/a> (D-Calif.) said Thursday she\u00a0has “no plans”\u00a0to bring\u00a0a Democratic-led bill to expand the Supreme Court to the House floor for a vote,\u00a0while saying such an idea is “not out of the question.”<\/p>\n

Pelosi was asked during a press briefing if she supported a bill brought forward by House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler<\/a> (D-N.Y.) to expand the Supreme Court by four seats and if she would bring it to the House floor.<\/p>\n

“No. I support the president’s commission to study such a proposal, but frankly I’m not \u2014 right now, we’re back, our members, our committees are working. We’re putting together the infrastructure bill and the rest,” Pelosi said.<\/p>\n

“I don’t know if that’s a good idea or a bad idea. I think it’s an idea that should be considered and I think the president’s taking the right approach to have a commission to study such a thing. It’s a big step,” she continued.<\/p>\n

Pelosi added re: expanding the court: “It’s not out of the question. It has been done before in the history of our country a long time ago. And the growth of our country, the size of our country, the growth of our challenges in terms of the economy, etc., might necessitate such a thing.” \u2013 article.<\/p>\n

I sincerely hope this means that there are cracks in the shell surrounding the nutballs in WDC. I also sincerely hope that this and other subjects like it become such an issue of disparity amongst the Democrats that they start to split, and split hard.<\/p>\n
