Several of our Usual Suspects have sent in articles concerning Joe’s nominee for SecArmy. Christine Wormuth has never served a day in the military, but this is not a prerequisite for the job. According to US Code, “The Secretary shall, to the greatest extent practicable, be appointed from among persons most highly qualified for the position by reason of background and experience, including persons with appropriate management or leadership experience.”<\/p>\n
Does she have the required qualifications and leadership experience? That’s for the Senate to determine during confirmation hearings.<\/p>\n
