Iceland\u2019s Baby Volcano (unofficially referred to as \u201cBob\u201d) is growing up quickly. Used to be just a hole in the ground, belching hot gases and some lava. In barely one week Bob has grown to be a teenager volcano and may have a long, long period of eruption life ahead of him.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s great for Iceland\u2019s tourist business, too, because the island is letting helicopter services ferry people out to the site. The video is live, courtesy of rus dot is.<\/p>\n

That includes Etna, on Sicily, which has been aggressively erupting for nearly two years now, in addition to all those Pacific islands that are the byproducts of volcanic eruptions over long periods of time. We do have a Navy base there at Sigonella.<\/p>\n And Japan\u2019s tally of active volcanoes is 141, with 47 of them listed as very active and being carefully watched.\u00a0 https:\/\/www.japan-guide.com\/e\/e2327.html\\<\/a><\/p>\n I think for now, we\u2019re pretty well off, so enjoy the show from Iceland. If this baby volcano does erupt into something \u201cspecial\u201d, the news media will take it as a disastrous even and we, of course are living in the \u2018shadow\u201d of doom\u2026.
