Both Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has called for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign, something he insisted earlier had no intention of doing.<\/p>\n

We commend the brave actions of the individuals who have come forward with serious allegations of abuse and misconduct. Due to the multiple, credible sexual harassment and misconduct allegations, it is clear that Governor Cuomo has lost the confidence of his governing partners and the people of New York. For his part, Cuomo blasted politicians for putting \u201copinions ahead of facts\u201d and said he\u2019ll continue running New York until a pair of inquiries into allegations of sexual harassment are completed.<\/p>\n
