\nA murderous Bronx drug dealer settled his beef with a local deli by coldly executing a store worker and blasting its owner in the chest before taking a bullet to the head from his own gun during an ensuing brawl, police said Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The grudge-holding gunman, Tykwan McLeod, 45, made a beeline toward deli worker Donte Thomas, 33, and opened fire at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, cops said.<\/p>\n

When the store\u2019s owner heard the gunshots from outside the Mount Eden store, he charged back inside \u2014 and was shot in the chest before attacking McLeod, cops said.<\/p>\n

The shooter\u2019s gun went off as he waged a life-and-death battle with the bleeding 35-year-old owner, cops said. The boss somehow managed to turn McLeod\u2019s gun on the killer and fired a shot \u2014 or the assailant\u2019s gun simply went off as the two grappled.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Office employee shoots man during machete attack, Orlando police say<\/strong>
\nOfficers: Man stabbed 2 employees<\/em><\/p>\n

ORLANDO, Fla. \u2013 Orlando police officers were at a staffing business Tuesday after a man attacked two employees there with a machete. One of the employees took out a gun and shot the attacker, according to officers.<\/p>\n

Police said it happened before 9:30 a.m. at Staff Zone on Old Winter Garden Road. The business is a day labor office and offers short-term employment.<\/p>\n

Records show 31-year-old Oraine Mitchell Grant came into the business seemingly upset with a large knife, later identified as a machete. Grant argued with a woman and a man who worked there, then went to stab the employees, investigators said. Officers said as Grant was trying to lunge at the employees, one of the workers shot him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nA Vietnam veteran bludgeoned an armed home intruder with a shotgun on Monday after the suspect forced his way inside the South Carolina home and attacked his wife with a large knife, according to a report.<\/p>\n

The suspect, identified as Harold Runnels, later died from his injuries.<\/p>\n

“I started hitting him in the head with the barrel and I know I must have hit him at least ten times right in the face, just as hard as I could hit him,” Herbert Parrish, 82, said, according to FOX 57 of Columbia, S.C.<\/p>\n

Runnels knocked on their back door at about 2 p.m. to ask Parrish’s wife if she had seen his white Chihuahua. At that point, he attacked her with the knife, according to the report.<\/p>\n

Parrish said that he believed the suspect was going to kill them, so he decided to “do something quick and get the edge on him.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
