Sound familiar? It should. Mad Max uttered nearly the exact statement in 2018 about members of the Trump administration. Now that Cuomo’s criminal mishandling of the Corona Virus is coming to light folks from Cuomo Watch have replaced Max’s “…that Cabinet…” with the Cuomo reference. And Dems are not happy.<\/p>\n

By Ryan Ledendecker<\/strong><\/p>\n A prime example of an elected person not doing their due diligence before opening their mouths \u2014 or typing on their keyboards \u2014 happened this week after a quote that was attributed to Rep. Maxine Waters made the rounds on social media.<\/p>\n The quote was actually similar to something she\u2019s said in the past, but the names were changed to gear it towards NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo instead of former President Donald Trump, according to the Daily Wire.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s the fake quote that emerged yesterday, which came on the heels of a bombshell report indicating that nursing home COVID-19 deaths had allegedly been underreported by as much as 50 percent.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you see anybody from the Cuomo Administration in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they\u2019re not welcome anymore, anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n If that threatening suggestion sounds familiar, it\u2019s because Waters actually wrote the following quote in 2018:<\/p>\n \u201cLet\u2019s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up and if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they\u2019re not welcome anymore, anywhere,\u201d Waters said, pointing at members of Trump\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n But by the time the altered quote had emerged, Democrats from all over began immediately clutching pearls.
