Police: CCW permit holder fatally shoots 18-year-old suspect during attempted robbery in Linden<\/strong>
\nPolice said the 18-year-old and a 17-year-old tried to rob a man at a market.<\/em><\/p>\n

COLUMBUS, Ohio \u2014 An 18-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday night by a man who has a concealed carry license after the teenager tried to rob him, according to Columbus police.<\/p>\n

Officers were called to the E&E Food Market in the 700 block of East Hudson Street in the Linden area around 7:25 p.m.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived, they found 18-year-old Kiran Hill shot. He was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition, where he later died.<\/p>\n

Police said Hill and 17-year-old Josiah Cocroft tried to rob a 33-year-old man at the market.<\/p>\n

Police said Hill pulled a gun on the man and then the man, who has a CCW permit, pulled out his own gun.<\/p>\n

Hill was shot when he and the man exchanged gunfire, police said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Police say Oregon man who stole a car with a child in the backseat came back and ‘lectured’ the mom about parenting<\/strong><\/p>\n

A carjacker in Beaverton, Oregon returned a child to their mother after realizing they were in the backseat of the car he was stealing.<\/p>\n

The thief scolded the mother for leaving the kid in the car and threatened to call the police on her before driving off in the car, police said.<\/p>\n

“He actually lectured the mother for leaving the child in the car and threatened to call the police on her,” Beaverton police spokesman Officer Matt Henderson told the Oregonian.<\/p>\n

Oregon police are looking for a man who they say stole a car with a child in the backseat only to return the 4-year-old and reprimand the mom about her parenting.<\/p>\n

The carjacking took place outside of a grocery store in Beaverton, Oregon on Saturday when the mom left the car running with the child in the backseat, local authorities said. <\/p>\n

The mother left the car unlocked and went inside to buy a gallon of milk and some meat, acorrding to the Oregonian. <\/p>\n

The thief happened to walk by and hopped in the car, the New York Post reported.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
