We previously posted about William Travis Tucker a couple of times last month.\u00a0 He was charged with stolen valor for claiming to have been awarded a Purple Heart, Silver Star as well as claimed to have been a P.O.W. – we posted about that here on Dec 2, 2020<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Then, days later he had additional charges.\u00a0 A video<\/a> surfaced of Tucker making his wild claims while he solicits money. We posted about this on Dec 5, 2020<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The story doesn’t end there.\u00a0 WHNT Channel 19 reports<\/a> yesterday that Tucker is now charged with stealing money from the Wounded Warrior Project.<\/p>\n

COLBERT COUNTY, Ala. \u2013 One Shoals man faces additional charges.<\/p>\n

A Colbert County grand jury indicted William Travis Tucker Monday on a charge of first-degree theft.<\/p>\n

Court documents show that Tucker stole $3,000 from the Wounded Warrior Project in May 2019.<\/p>\n

Tucker was previously arrested in December and\u00a0charged with stolen valor<\/a>\u00a0after pretending to be a prisoner of war.<\/p>\n

Sheffield Police Lt. Ray Terry told News 19 the discovery was made when Tucker attempted to use forged documents to obtain POW license plates.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

WAAY Channel 13 ABC<\/a> also carried the same story.<\/p>\n

A Shoals man charged with stolen valor in Colbert and Lauderdale counties now faces charges of stealing from Wounded Warriors.<\/p>\n

A Colbert County grand jury indicted William Travis Tucker with theft of property from the Wounded Warriors Project.<\/p>\n

This Jan. 6 indictment is related to a Jeep rally where authorities say about $3,000 was raised for, but never given to, Wounded Warriors Project. (Read more HERE<\/a>)<\/p>\n
