\nThe West Palm Beach Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at a gas station overnight.<\/p>\n

Authorities say that a person was shot outside of the RaceTrac gas station at 2995 45th Street just before midnight on Saturday.<\/p>\n

A vehicle owner confronted and shot a burglar inside of their vehicle, according to police. The suspected burglar and shooting victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Police say the vehicle owner was licensed to legally carry a firearm and cooperated with investigators.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Homeowner shoots and kills 2 burglary suspects Monday morning<\/strong>

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Amarillo police have identified the two people found dead in a home Monday morning.<\/p>\n

Around 5:19 a.m., officers were called to a suspicion call at a home near 3rd Avenue and S. Jackson Street.<\/p>\n

Officers found two people dead in the home.<\/p>\n

APD Homicide Detectives were called to the scene to investigate.<\/p>\n

Detectives have learned the homeowner confronted one of the people committing a burglary. The suspect attacked the homeowner and the two began fighting.<\/p>\n

The homeowner was armed with a handgun.<\/p>\n

Police say the second person tried to assault the homeowner, and the homeowner shot the suspects in fear for his life.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Resident shoots and kills suspected burglar in North Lauderdale<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nNORTH LAUDERDALE \u2014 An armed burglary suspect is dead and the Broward State Attorney\u2019s Office will decide if the resident who fatally shot the intruder will be charged.<\/p>\n

Derrick Morgan, 21, of North Lauderdale, killed Millard Thompson, 38, of Deerfield Beach, about 2 a.m. Dec. 30, the Broward Sheriff\u2019s Office said Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Thompson was inside the home in the 8000 block of Southwest Fifth Street when 911 was called. Morgan confronted Thompson and fired, investigators said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
