\nWhen a gunman began firing at a cashier during the robbery of a New Orleans East convenience store Tuesday night, another employee who was in the store at the time pushed her out of the line of fire, pulled out his own pistol and ordered the robber to get on the ground, the store’s owner said.<\/p>\n

But when robber continued shooting, the employee returned fire and killed him, said owner Nick Hingel, who wasn’t present during Tuesday night’s holdup, but watched the events unfold on video recorded by the store’s surveillance cameras. Neither of his employees was injured, Hingel said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

80-year-old Pensacola homeowner shoots 15-year-old suspected car thief<\/strong><\/p>\n

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR-TV) \u2014 An 80-year-old Pensacola man shot at two people who tried to steal his car, police say<\/p>\n

It happened on W. Brainerd Street around 11:05 p.m. Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Investigators say when the victim walked outside to lock his cars, two men pointed a gun at him demanding his car.<\/p>\n

Police said the homeowner grabbed his concealed weapon and open fire.<\/p>\n

A 15-year-old suspect was shot near his heart. He is listed in critical condition.<\/p>\n

The second suspect got away.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A gun owner with a\u00a0concealed-carry<\/a>\u00a0permit shot and killed an\u00a0armed robbery<\/a>\u00a0suspect at a\u00a0Chicago<\/a>\u00a0cell phone store on Saturday night, according to police.<\/p>\n

It was not immediately clear whether the 29-year-old gun owner was the business owner, an employee or a customer, FOX 32 of Chicago reported.<\/p>\n

The gun owner shot the\u00a0armed suspect<\/a>\u00a0at least two times in the 7 p.m. incident, police told the station. The suspect was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead, FOX 32 reported.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n
