New born and already the impatient type! Mom-to-be was in labor waiting for a ride to her C-Section appointment, but her daughter had other plans. She arrived 2222L, Christmas Eve at home. All are doing just fine. <\/p>\n

Texas Firefighters Deliver Baby at Home on Christmas Eve<\/h3>\n

HOUSTON, Texas \u2014 Houston firefighters delivered a healthy baby girl on Christmas Eve in her new home while waiting for an ambulance to arrive.<\/p>\n

In the early evening of Christmas Eve, members of Houston Fire Departments Engine 5 responded to a call regarding a woman in labor. The crew, based on the city\u2019s west side, provided care for the mother while they awaited the arrival of an ambulance.<\/p>\n

As it became apparent that the baby would not wait, the firefighters delivered the baby girl.<\/p>\n

The Houston Firefighters Association tweeted the photo of the proud parents and the happy crew of firefighters.<\/p>\n

Houston Firefighters Association President Marty Lancton told Breitbart Texas, \u201cHouston firefighters are grateful that we could help deliver the family\u2019s new bundle of joy and that Mom and baby are recovering well. Our crew appreciated the opportunity to help. We applaud Mom\u2019s bravery in the delivery. We wish the family a Merry Christmas!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
